Piano Renaissance is pleased to host a monthly meeting for all members of the Chicago Chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild.

Known as the 1st Tuesday Club, we meet every month on the 1st Tuesday to explore interesting topics in piano technology that pertain to our work as field technicians and tuners.

The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday October 7th.  At this special session we will practice repair requirements for the technical exams.  String splicing, vertical shank repair, key bushing, flange bushing, string unison, knot and loop and hammer shaping are all covered.  Some members may be registered to take the technical exams at the upcoming Chicago Chapter Regional Convention October 10 and 11th.  This class will  be especially helpful if you are planning to take the PTG exams in the future and would like to try to successfully execute these repairs in the given time frame. For more information about the Chicago Regional please visit:  www.wholepiano.com.

1st Tuesday class meetings are open to all Chicago Chapter PTG Members.   North shore members are also welcome.  If you would like to attend please contact Jeff Cappelli at 708-772-8282 or via email.
